The 2006 SHIRAZ is our maiden Shiraz made from one of our blocks. The wine is unfiltered and matured in French oak barrels for 1 year. It is a spicy, full bodied wine that can be enjoyed now but will reach its full potential after 2 years.
There are hints of Cigar box, Pepper, Liquorices and Herbs.
Mzansi Ruby Cabernet (KINGSRIVER ESTATE WINE) R70
A blend of 50% natural yeast fermentation and 50% commercial yeast cocktail. Slow fermentation and extended skin contact to extract maximum taste, color and health elements (Procyanidins). The wine is unfiltered and matured in French oak for 1 year.
Medium bodied and ready to be enjoyed but improves over time due to traditional winemaking methods. Hints of Plum, Black Cherry, and Vanilla.
